Catching up with Homeland.

Wow, Quinn is hot. Damn!

Homeland totally jumped the shark the episode before last. It’s requiring lots of patience and a lot of suspension of disbelief since that point. This is making me rethink watching series in real time. Probably best to let this show marinate and watch as extended seasons in several sittings. Watching this show incrementally definitely isn’t as fulfilling as watching a season at a time. (I heard the latter approach referred to as “mainlining”. Totally appropriate.)

I don’t understand what we’re to make of Saul’s and Mira’s situation.

Carrie had to have been pregnant when she was in the hospital. That’s why she didn’t want to be there and was so panicked to get out. She didn’t want to have to take her meds. Also makes sense that she has gone off of them. 20-20 hindsight. However, this is where suspension of disbelief has to come into play because wouldn’t the hospital have done a full blood workup upon intake? If Saul had her in play the whole time and didn’t tell her, he may somehow know too. My guess is that it’s Brody’s but who knows?

The Dana sequence seemed weird and rushed but then again, so has the entire season so far.
